  • Is the program offered online or in-person?
    FIT & NU’s programs are only offered online. Our program is designed to be accessible to women of color from anywhere in the world who are interested in preventing chronic diseases and building healthy habits that last. We understand that not everyone has access to in-person health coaching or may prefer the convenience of an online program, which is why we have made our program available exclusively online. Our online platform offers personalized coaching, community support, and educational resources to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.
  • Do you have in person classes?
    We are now an online-based program that offers weekly live online classes, FIT Club On-Demand Library with over 100 workouts for all levels, plus nutrition programming, and education.
  • What makes FIT & NU's program different from others?
    Our program is unique in several ways: Cultural Competence: Our program is designed specifically for women of color, and we understand the unique challenges and cultural factors that can impact their health. We take a culturally competent approach to health coaching and fitness programming, which means we are sensitive to our clients' diverse backgrounds, experiences, and values. Preventative Focus: Our program is focused on preventing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. We believe that prevention is the key to long-term health, and our approach focuses on building healthy habits that last. Online Accessibility: Our program is only offered online, which makes it accessible to women of color from anywhere in the world. Personalized Coaching: We offer personalized coaching to each client, which means that our program is tailored to meet your specific health and wellness needs. Every 3 months, we work with you to create a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Community Support: Our online platform offers a supportive community of women of color who are also working towards their health and wellness goals. Our community provides a space for connection, encouragement, and accountability.
  • How soon can I expect results?
    The timeline for achieving results will vary depending on individual factors such as your starting point, health history, lifestyle habits, and goals. Our program is designed to help you build healthy habits that last, which means that the results you achieve will be sustainable and long-term. We recommend that you approach the program with a long-term mindset and focus on making gradual, sustainable changes to your lifestyle. You may start to notice some positive changes in your health and well-being within a few weeks or months of starting the program, but it is important to remember that health is a journey, not a destination. Remember, building healthy habits takes time and effort, but the benefits are worth it. With the right mindset, support, and guidance, you can achieve sustainable results and improve your overall health and well-being.
  • What do you mean when you say, “women of color”?
    When we say "women of color," we are referring to women who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latina, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, or multiracial/multiethnic. We recognize that women of color face unique health disparities and challenges due to systemic racism, discrimination, and other social determinants of health. Our program is designed to address these disparities and provide culturally competent support and guidance to help women of color prevent chronic diseases and build healthy habits that last. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all women, especially those of color and honoring their diverse experiences, backgrounds, and identities.
  • I have an injury or special needs, can I participate in the challenges or other programs?
    We strive to make our fitness program as inclusive as possible, and we welcome clients with injuries or special needs to participate in our challenges and other programs. However, if you have an injury or special needs, we recommend that you speak with your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise or wellness program. This will help ensure that the program is safe and appropriate for your specific needs and medical history. Our program is designed to be flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs and goals of our clients. We are committed to providing inclusive and supportive coaching to help all women of color achieve their health and wellness goals.
  • Do you have classes for seniors, or do you show modified exercises for older adults?
    At FIT & NU, we offer modified versions of exercises suitable for older adults in all of our classes. While we don't have specific classes for seniors, our Coaches are trained to provide modifications to accommodate different fitness levels and individual needs. We encourage you to consult with your doctor before joining our classes, especially if you have any concerns. Additionally, we can conduct a FIT Test to assess your fitness level and personalize your experience.
  • What is Habit Therapy™?
    Habit Therapy™ is our weekly, live group coaching session led by resident or guest coaches. These sessions are based on the principle that habits are the building blocks of behavior. By focusing on changing habits, members can create lasting change in their health and well-being. Habit Therapy™ may involve a variety of coaching techniques, such as goal setting, self-monitoring, positive reinforcement, and accountability. Habit Therapy™ coaches work closely with clients to identify the habits that are most important to their health and well-being and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals. Habit change is a key component of our coaching approach. We believe that building healthy habits is the key to preventing chronic diseases and improving overall health and well-being. Our coaches are trained in habit-based coaching techniques and are dedicated to helping our clients build sustainable healthy habits that last.
  • What is VIP Q&A?
    Dedicated “question & answer” time is available to members who enroll in our premium coaching/annual membership. These sessions are typically 30 minutes before the start of Habit Therapy™ sessions, designed to provide personalized support and guidance from a coach and address any questions or concerns you may have about your coaching program. During the VIP Q&A hours, you will have the opportunity to connect with a certified coach via video call. You can ask any questions you have about your program, discuss your progress, and receive personalized feedback and support.
  • Can I cancel at anytime?
    Our premium membership is a 1 year commitment that includes Challenges and Courses. These are digital products that include either a limited or lifetime access and cannot be canceled. If you are on a trial, you may cancel the membership within the trial period without penalty and not be charged the annual Membership Fee.

  • Do you accept insurance?
    At this time, FIT & NU does not accept insurance. However, we do accept payment through Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Please speak to your provider for more information about using your HSA to pay for services.

    We accept various convenient payment methods to facilitate your transactions. Currently, we accept major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as popular digital payment platforms like PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
